Paris | Things To Do

Not to miss:
-
Le Louvre Museum: The world's largest art museum. Go and check out the Mona Lisa and other world famous displays.
-
The Eiffel Tower: Do I even have to write anything about this one? Don't be fooled by the "deaf" and "dumb" people begging underneath it though.
-
Arc de Triomphe: Located at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, this monument is the centrepiece of one of the craziest roundabouts in Europe. There are no lanes and it's really just a free for all. You can go to the top f the Arc but it's quite pricey.
-
Notre Dam Cathedral: A medieval cathedral. If you're into architecture or history, go check this out.
-
Montmarte: This is the area behind the Sacre Coeur shich is loaded with little shops an markets
-
Sacre Coeur: A large hilltop basilica overlooking Paris
-
Rue Cremieux: A small street with lots of colourful houses along it
-
Champs-Élysées: Take a stroll down this famous shopping street. If you like designer shops and everything high-end, then this is the place for you.
-
Disneyland Paris: 32km from Paris. On our way here in 2014 I almost got arrested by the police on the train who had mean faces and guns. It all started because my train ticket was invalid and I had my feet on the chair (yeah, I'm one of those people) and they didn't take to kindly to that.
-
Catacombs of Paris: About 20 metres below Paris are tunnels filled with the remains of around 6 million Parisians. I've never been but I hear it's not for the fain hearted.
-
Rue de l'universite: Provides a nice angle of the Eiffel Tower
-
Getting lost: Paris is a massive city with so many hidden gems, gardens and streets to wander around. Just go for a walk and see what you find.
